About Us
What We Provide

At Earth Tracks Outdoor School and Wilderness Canoe Trips we offer a wide range of programming and experiences for people of all ages and skill levels.  Our schedule is always being updated as new classes and trips are designed and offered.

The Earth Tracks Tree has four main Branches:
The Outdoor School, Wilderness Canoe Trips, Nature-Based Learning for Children/Youth and Speaking Engagements/Presentations.

Earth Tracks Outdoor School

Our classes and workshops offer students the chance to immerse themselves in the skills being taught and gain valuable hands on experience with each subject.   Each class is designed to provide a `foundation of knowledge` dealing with each topic on which a life time of learning is built upon.   ab2We continue to develop advanced classes as more and more people study with us that will draw the student deeper along this path.    Our programs build upon and compliment each other very well.   Through everything that we teach it is our goal to help people develop the skills to live a life of connection to the earth.  By learning and living these skills we gain valuable wisdom that is much needed in modern world.
At this time we are also developing long-term study programs and internships that will be designed to draw students deeper into the Naturalist/Tracking studies and Earth Philosophy/Spirituality.  We only take a small number of people each year for these spaces.   Please inquire about interest in these experiences.

Nature-Based Learning
Earth Tracks offers nature-based programming for children's groups as well as after-school and home school programs.   If you would like to have us come to you and work with your group or organization please contact our office.  We are also proud to endorse and work with the PINE Project Nature Camps for children that take place in Toronto and the Huntsville area.   P.I.N.E. summer camps offer creative play, exploration and adventure, as campers work together in small groups throughout their week. Camps introduce nature awareness and experiential knowledge of plants, mammals, wildlife tracking, birds and wilderness living skills. We encourage campers to have fun and play safe, all the while nurturing their connection to nature and allowing them to feel at home outdoors.

Earth Tracks offers a variety of wilderness canoe trips that explore many of the natural areas of central and northern Ontario.     Each paddling adventure is guided by Alexis and trips range from 2 to 14 days in length.   Our naturalist-guided adventures allow participants the chance to immerse themselves in the magic and beauty of this world famous paddling destination.      As we paddle, explore and share meals cooked over an open flame your ‘rhythms’ begin to match those of the natural world around you and you become more aware of the life and vitality of nature.    Our canoe trips are open to people of all backgrounds and experience levels.   Each canoeing experience features spectacular wildlife viewing, delicious back-country cuisine and the chance to experience the Canadian wilderness.    Our adventures are all-inclusive providing you with everything needed to experience the natural world by canoe.   For more information on all of our trips you can visit the website or feel free to contact us directly.
Earth Tracks is also available to plan custom canoe trips that will meet the needs of your individual group of family or friends.     With a minimum of 4 people we will gladly plan with you a memorable wilderness canoe trip.    Call our office for more details or to inquire about planning a wilderness canoe trip with memories that will last a life time.
Speaking Engagements/Presentations
Over the years we have travelled and presented at many different outdoor adventure shows, colleges and universities, naturalists clubs, conservation organizations and many others.  These talks and presentations have included topics such as Edible and Medicinal Plants, Ethical Wild crafting, Wildlife Tracking and Nature Observation, Wilderness Survival and Wilderness Canoe Trips.   Please contact us if you are interested in having Earth Tracks come to you and offer one of these events.   We can work with your individual group or organization in delivering one of these informative and educational presentations.

Lastly, we offer wildlife/property consultation in learning about the ecology of the flora and fauna found on your land and how you can play a positive role in its management.  We can develop plans on how to enhance the health of your property and help to create a more balanced environment.   More information on this process will become available in the near future.
