Balm of Gilead Medicinal Oil

Here’s a video I did for our Wild Plants Apprentices describing how to use the double boiler method for extracting the resins and medicinal qualities of Balsam Poplar buds.   They make a great infused oil that can then be turned into a salve for its antiseptic, anti bacterial and anti inflammatory qualities.   A very useful salve for use in many remedies.
