Earth Tracks has run this workshop for the last 14 years and it is hands-down one of our favorite workshops!  It takes place in a kitchen setting and goes through the step by step process of making plant based medicines from start to finish.

In this workshop you will learn how to make many different forms of herbal medicines including:

• General purpose healing salves
• Burn & Anti-Septic salves
• Various lip balms and ointments
• Tinctures making (both the folk & Standardized methods)
• Cold and flu remedies
• Liver tonics
• Migraine medicines
• Cough syrups and lozenges
• Immune boosting tinctures
• Herbal Teas
• And many more

We will go through each step of the salve, ointment, lip balm  and tincture-making process in great detail.  Learning which plants are good for cuts, scrapes, bruises, colds and flu’s etc….

Learn to treat yourself and family naturally, using common plants that grow around us to create top-quality herbal products. Many of the expensive tinctures and salves available in health food stores can be made naturally (and economically) from the comfort of your own home.

You will learn to make many different herbal medicines in this class and recipes as well as handouts will be available for you to take home as well.  Herbal medicine is a ‘Medicine for the People’ and there is something so very rewarding and satisfying that comes from making your own health care products.   Not to mention the the

feeling of empowerment that comes from taking your families health into your own hands.

*The workshop itself runs from 9 am until 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.   You are welcome to camp on our land on the Saturday night.   Meals are not included in the price of the workshop.*
